About Me

David is the second generation to own and operate Ferro Messenger Service. He has been the operations manager since 2011 and took the ownership role in 2016. David was born in Central New Jersey and has been a resident of Somerset, NJ since 1995. He has been able to build and maintain relationships with clients in both of his roles and looks forward to the continued growth and fostering of relationships with current and future businesses in Central New Jersey. 

History 

After being laid off by his longtime employer, Robert Ferro felt that it was the perfect time in his life to leave Corporate America and build a business on his own terms. In 2000, he opened Ferro Messenger Service. After proudly serving Somerset County and the greater Central Jersey area for 11 years, he suffered from back issues preventing him from running the daily operations of the business. 

In 2011, his son David Ferro, then a sophomore at Rutgers University-New Brunswick took on the role of running FMS as Operations Manager. 

Upon graduating Rutgers with a major in Organizational Communication & Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship, David officially took over in 2016.
